About
A lifelong learner with a
wide-angle view
I'm a lifelong learner who enjoys researching, writing, teaching, and finding connections between the past and the present.
My background is in healthcare as a respiratory therapist and inpatient medical coder. After many years in those fields, I decided to pursue my passion for history. I'm currently working toward my master's degree in history and hope to earn my PhD in cultural heritage after my MSc.
Outside of academics, roller derby is a huge part of my life. I'm a skater, junior league coach, mentor, and league volunteer. I also love traveling, exploring historical sites, meeting new people, and experiencing different cultures.
